Anushka Sharma shoots with baby bump ,declares she will act as long as she lives

Anushka Sharma has been posting pictures with a baby bump since August 2020 on social media. While everyone thought that she would take a break from work but she had a surprise for everyone. She returned to shoot for some brands commited earlier, after ensuring that all necessary precautions corona virus precautions were taken and a safety-bubble was in place for her team and her.

Speaking to one of the leading newspapers, the actress also revealed that she plans to return to work soon after husband Virat Kohli and she welcome their first child in January 2021.

Further she added, “Being on the set brings me a lot of joy and I’m going to be shooting continuously for the next few days. It’s been great being on the set, meeting my entire team and soaking in the madness of a shoot. This year has been tough for our industry, but I’m happy to see it restart with the same amount of passion and energy.”

Anushka added that she thought through all aspects before deciding to resume shoot during the pandemic. This included making sure all the safety precautions were taken and protocols were followed. Her entire staff and every crew member underwent COVID-19 tests at regular intervals during the shoot. Her team, too, is extremely protective of the actress, who is pregnant. They ensured that they quarantined thoroughly and didn’t meet people outside of the work environment during the schedule.

The way stringent measures were taken, Anushka had no complaiants about shooting, as she understands that an actor she has to face the camera without a mask, and hence is at risk. “I had to be sure that the sets are going to be a safe place to shoot because I would be shooting during the pandemic. Though I was looking forward to shooting again, I was also careful that all the precautions were being taken. I’m thankful to everyone for following all the necessary steps for me to shoot. The virus is here to stay and we have to embrace the new normal and deal with coronavirus with the strictest precautions, which is what I have done,” she says.
When asked about her plan to start shooting her film projects after the birth of her child, she shares, “I will be back to my shoots after I deliver my child, and will establish a system at home that ensures I can balance time between my child, home and professional life. I intend to keep working for as long as I live because acting truly makes me happy.”
